2023 - 4th Grade Wax Museum

Mrs. Davis along with her 18  - 4th grade students presented Famous Nebraskans in how their person helped to shape our great state!

Jarrett Jones - Johnny Rodgers - an American former football player. He played college football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and won the Heisman Trophy in 1972.

Preston Filipi - Solomon Butcher - Nebraska photographer produced a record of the settlement of the Great Plains that is both unique and remarkable

Kody Hinrichs - Wild Bill Hickok -  a folk hero of the American Old West known for his life on the frontier as a soldier, scout, lawman, cattle rustler, gunslinger, gambler, showman, and actor, and for his involvement in many famous gunfights. (as a lawman in the frontier territories of  Kansas and Nebraska)

Breckyn Rut - Edwin Perkins - invented the powdered drink mix Kool-Aid in 1927 in Hastings, Nebraska,

Owen Davis - Alex Gordon - an American  professional baseball left fielder who played his entire career for the Kansas City starting out on the Nebraska Cornhuskers College Baseball Team

Cooper Huls - Bil Baird - Famous American puppeteer born in Grand Island, NE

Brodie Ellingson - Tom Osborne - a former American football player, coach, college athletics administrator, and politician from Nebraska. He served as head football coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 1973 to 1997.

Anika Maas - Mari Sandoz - a Nebraska novelist, biographer, lecturer, and teacher. She became one of the West's foremost writers, and wrote extensively about pioneer life and the Plains Indians

Easton Specht - Michael Anderson - a United States Air Force officer and NASA astronaut. Anderson and his six fellow crew members were killed in the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster when the craft disintegrated during its re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere.

Mckinley Skiles - Red Cloud - born 1822, on the Platte River, Nebraska Territory, U.S -  a natural leader and spokesman of his people through the force of his own character and through bravery in battle and was determined to protect the Native Americans’ prime hunting grounds

Adelia Paul - Susan LaFlesche Picotte - A Native American doctor and reformer in the late 19th century. Acknowledged as one of the first Indigenous peoples to earn a medical degree.

Bellamy Griggs - Minnie Freeman - In one of America’s deadliest blizzards in Nebraska, this schoolteacher used quick thinking and resourcefulness to save more than a dozen students.

Lorna Thomas - Evelyn Sharp -  Nebraska’s female pilot and teen airmail pilot

Madison Schafer - Rose Blumkin - Better known as "Mrs. B" , she was an American businesswoman who founded the Nebraska Furniture Mart in 1937.

Gustavo Nunez - Edward Gomez - Private First Class was a United States Marine from Omaha, Nebraska who posthumously received the Medal of Honor — the United States' highest decoration for valor — for gallantly sacrificing his life to save the lives of four fellow Marines on his machine gun team during the Battle of the Punchbowl

James VanWesten - David Butler - a U.S. political figure. He was the first governor of Nebraska, serving from 1867 until 1871.

Michael Lee - Larry the Cable Guy - Born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, producer, and former radio personality.
