Wax Museum (Famous Nebraskans)

4th Grade Class

The fourth grade students' WAX MUSEUM was a huge success.  The students did an excellent job presenting their famous Nebraskan during the Meridian 4th Grade Wax Museum Exhibit! Super job to all the 4th graders and Mrs. Davis!  Under each picture is a write up on their famous Nebraskan.

Lani Lutjemeyer as JoJo Siwa, an American dancer, singer, actress, and YouTube personality. She is known for appearing for two seasons on Dance Moms along with her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, and for her singles "Boomerang" and "Kid in a Candy Store"

Aubrey Bachle as Susan Picotte, a Native American doctor and reformer in the late 19th century. She is widely acknowledged as the first Native American to earn a medical degree.

Hope Spurrier as Julie Wilson, an American singer and actress "widely regarded as the queen of cabaret".

Kenzie Kumpf as Willa Cather, an American writer who achieved recognition for her novels of frontier life on the Great Plains.

Paiten Barnell as Mari Sandoz, a Nebraska novelist, biographer, lecturer, and teacher.

Darius Suarez as Red Cloud, one of the most important leaders of the Oglala Lakota from 1868 to 1909.

Jacob Danhauer as Johnny Rogers, an American former gridiron football player. He played college football at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 1972, the first wide receiver to win the award.

Jetta Stewart as Marg Helgenberger, an American actress. She began her career in the early 1980s and first came to attention for playing the role of Siobhan Ryan on the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope from 1982 to 1986.

Bentley Specht as Daniel Freeman, an American homesteader and Civil War veteran. He was recognized as the first person to file a claim under the Homestead.

Wyatt Paul as Larry the Cable Guy, an American stand-up comedian, actor, producer, singer and radio personality, with a career spanning over 30 years.

Jaycee Schwisow as Grace Abbott, an American social worker who specifically worked in improving the rights of immigrants and advancing child welfare, especially the regulation of child labor.

Eian Krupickas as Clayton Anderson, a retired NASA astronaut. Launched on STS-117, he replaced Sunita Williams on June 10, 2007 as a member of the ISS Expedition 15 crew.

Jakob Clement as Tom Osborne, a former American football player, coach, college athletics administrator, and politician from Nebraska. He served as head football coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers from 1973 to 1997.

Victor Ramos as Buffalo Bill, William Frederick Cody, known as Buffalo Bill, was a buffalo hunter, U.S. army scout, and an Indian fighter. But he is probably best known as the man who gave the Wild West its name.

Hayden Specht as Warren Buffet, an American business magnate, investor, and philanthropist, who is the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway.

Jayton Jones as Scott Frost, an American football coach and former player. He is the head coach at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He was the head coach at the University of Central Florida.

Grady Schwisow as Edwin Perkins, a notable Nebraskan, Edwin Elijah Perkins would grow up to become the inventor and promoter of Kool-Aid (originally spelled "Kool-Ade")
