2024 FFA Convention Highlights

Pictures 1, 2, 3 - What a phenomenal end to a great week at state FFA convention! Our very own Peyton Hinrichs was named a STATE FFA OFFICER! We are so incredibly proud of you, Peyton!
Picture 4 - Meridian FFA Members attending State Convention - The 2024 State FFA Convention will be one that I will never forget. As an advisor and an educator I could not be more proud of every single one of these kids and their accomplishments. My members have put in countless hours and dedication to practicing and studying, and let me tell you, it all paid off! While the plaques, medals, and ribbons are great. Watching my members learn new skills and develop new friendships through this organization is easily my favorite. Ending convention with my chapter and I’s first ever state officer was pretty cool too! Thank you for another great year Meridian FFA

Pictures 6 & 7 - This morning Meridian was recognized at the 2nd General Session as a Premier Chapter earning a gold rating on our National Chapter Application. This application highlights the efforts of our chapter and its members! We will be able to advance to the national level with this application. We were also recognized for our work with the Connecting Chapters program.
Picture 8 - The livestock management team of Tucker Simms, Olivia Schafer, Taelyn Filipi, Kymber Schwisow, and Samuel Thomas secured THIRD HIGH TEAM in Swine!
Picture 9 - Congratulations to our LDE state qualifiers! Peyton earned and silver in Employment Skills! Becca earned a bronze in Natural Resources Speaking!

It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be named in the top three in proficiency applications. These applications highlight members SAE projects and their time spent learning and growing their skills in respective areas. Congratulations, Landon and Kyan!
