2024 Actions Day Results of Meridian Students - 12 Medal Winners

Sam Thomas pulled the trifecta placing in all three tests

Eighteen Meridian students grades 9-12 attended the 34 th annual Actions Day on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at

Central Community College Hastings. Meridian students were among the 675 students representing 25 area schools. The
students tested their knowledge in forty content areas. Meridian was represented with their largest number students with 34 entrants.

Meridian students picked up where they left off last year and came home with another school record twelve awards.

Students that were awarded trophies for top five finishes were:

Freshmen: Beau Bartels 4th in Electrical Technology, Maddox Haake 1st in Sports, Isaac Thomas 3rd in Quotes.

Sophomores: Landon Griggs 5th in Art, Luke Seeman 5th in Algebra I, Jenna Woitalewicz 5th in Solar System

Junior: Sam Thomas pulled the trifecta placing in all three tests - 5th in Spelling, 1st in Literature and 1st in Agriculture.

Seniors: Peyton Norine-deMonbrun 5th in Culinary/Hospitality, Evelyn Woitalewicz, who was a double award winner
4th in Culinary/Hospitality and 1st in Lyrics.

The remainder of the Meridian students put forth their best effort and represented Meridian Public Schools well. Good Job
to all the students that attended Actions Day.
