Students are starting to sell plants, flowers, grasses, and vegetables NOW through Monday April 2nd ... Patrons can go to www.janetsjungle.com website to order online or just browse their catalog and fill out an order form. Checks are payable to Meridian Activity Fund.
Meridian 7-12 Grade Students will be selling starting March 1st through April 2nd
Janet’s Jungle is again our distributor and has assured us that the hanging baskets will be full and beautiful again this year. A variety of plants and vegetables will be offered. To see a complete listing, you may go to www.janetsjungle.com and look and see what will be available. Directions are below.
Please consider supporting your local school in purchasing your plants from any 7-12th grade student. Remember—when you buy from a local student, you don’t pay sales tax like you do when you buy elsewhere; and these plants are delivered to the school. You save on tax and save on mileage.
Help support the Meridian students and their class. All orders must be turned in by April 2nd. See attached order form.
Remember, we encourage all buyers to pick up their plants anytime from 4:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24th @ the Daykin Community Building or Thursday, April 25th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. @ the Meridian School.
Patrons can go online to: www.janetsjungle.com or students can send them an email with the link and ask them to buy from you. There are other plants that are only on-line orders.
Directions for Seed Sales and Plant & Flower Sales– online catalog:
1) It will ask to enter organization name Meridian
2) Click on: Daykin Meridian Public School
3) Go on the right-hand side and click Seeds & Sprouts Online Sale to browse catalog
Go to the left-hand side and click R1 Online Sales to browse catalog
4) Click on the order form and order Seeds & Sprouts Order Form
Click on the order form and order R1 Order Form
Fill out the order form completely for both online and catalog only sales.
- Please put name of student you want credit to go to.
- Please enter customer email as reminders will be sent directly to them for pick up.
3) Customer pays via credit card (online) or by check to Meridian Activity Fund.
4) Checks payable to Meridian Activity Fund.
Note… If customers have a cell phone, have them take a picture of order form for their records.
Also note, when viewing plants online, there are bonus buys that you can only purchase via online.
NOTE & IMPORTANT: Some plants that have been offered before through Janet’s Jungle will be sold by the FFA in early May. (Look at the order form)
Watch for the date of the FFA Open House Green House Sales on the website and Facebook. These flowers will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Remember our prices are very comparable to area stores. And you will not be paying tax on these items.
