Meridian Public Schools hosted a family fun night on Friday, April 11th. The fun night consisted of teachers, staff and community members preparing and teaching different artistic projects that students could take part in. It was everything from rock painting to sugar cookie decorating. There were also local artists, graphic design educators from UNL and a ballon artist. In addition to that, Meridian's own drama department provided face painting and different acting activities for the students.
The students were also allowed to compete in 5 different CTE competitions. The five categories available for students to compete in were Lego Building, 3-D Printing, welding and construction, food and textiles and t-shirt design. The projects were then voted on by the students and the public!!
