Congratulations to Kathy Houser on receiving the 2026 Outstanding Classified Staff Member award from the Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association. A Meridian Alumna, Kathy was nominated in honor of her retirement after 56 years as a staff member at Meridian Public School. The award was presented at the NRCSA Spring Conference on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Younes Conference Center North in Kearney by Meridian Superintendent Randy Kort. She was nominated by the Meridian administration with letters of support from staff and community members. Kathy was surprised with the award and joined by her family to help her celebrate. Congratulations Kathy!
