In honor of this year being the Winter Olympics. The Meridian Elementary and staff competed in their own version of the winter games. The whole elementary was divided up into teams with an average of 8-9 students per team. Teams consisted of a mix of Pre K-6th grade students. The students then competed individually at the end of each day in an event. Winners were granted the podium ceremony with medals awarded that were created by Mr. Becker and his 3-D printing team. There was also a medal tracker created to award the team with the most medals at the end of the Olympics. Mr. Becker's team, comprised of Cora Maschman, Kain Schoenrock, Coy Wolfe, Kinslee Wolfe, Emelia Henk, Hayden Miner, Paisley Meyer, Jagger Milke and Skylar Molt, were the team champions of this years events.
