7th and 8th Local Eastern Nebraska Speech contest... Contestants were...Taelyn Filipi, Samuel Thomas, McKenzie Hofstetter, Jaylee Sobotka, Shaysah Burkhart, JD Adam, Luke Seeman, and Jenna Woitalewicz. They performed their speeches in front of a room of parents, grandparents, and siblings. Winners were First Place Samuel Thomas, Second Place Shaysah Burkhart, and Third Place Taelyn Filipi.
The theme this year was My State - What Makes Nebraska Great! `
