Every year, many elementary students look forward to the elementary track meet. However, like many other events that take place in the 4th quarter, the elementary track meet was canceled due to COVID-19. Or so we thought.
This past week, elementary students were given the opportunity to participate in the elementary track meet, COVID-19 style. Students were given 3 challenges, with 3 events in each challenge. The "1 minute challenge" had students calculate how many exercises they could do in 1 minute. The "endurance challenge" had students see how long they could last when completing each exercise. Finally, if students had the equipment needed they were able to participate in the optional "bonus challenge".
All students that submitted their results gave an AMAZING effort. Below is the link for the track meet results. The top 3 students per class are listed for each event. Thank you to all that participated! We hope you had fun with this activity! Have a great summer!
