Meridian's Josiee Sobotka signed to play college basketball at Southeast Community College on Thursday.
The 5-foot-7 point guard averaged 18.4 points per game this past season, the best mark in Fairbury Journal-News coverage-area, behind an area-high 45 percent shooting. Sobotka finished her career with 1,144 points.
The senior also showed her all-around skills on the basketball court to end her high school career by leading the area in steals per game (3.8) and having the second-highest total in assists (3.1 apg), as well as the third-best rebounding total (7 rpg).
