Meridian Winter Olympics

Meridian Olympics - click here...

As the Olympics get started in South Korea, here at Meridian we have our own version of the Winter Olympics coming around the corner. They will start on Monday, February 12 during study hall. In these Olympics the different classes will compete against one another in various competitions for the chance to win the grand prize. The different games will emulate the different games that are played in the actual Olympics. These games will be: ice hockey, luge, curling, skeleton, biathlon, slalom skiing, ski jumping, and speed skating. The winner of each event will be awarded a gold medal for their class. The winning class will be determined by the points assigned to each medal. For example if a class earns a gold medal they will be awarded 3 points, a silver medal will be awarded 2 points, and a bronze will be awarded 1 point. The winning class will not only be allowed to eat first during lunch for two weeks, but will also get an ice cream party! Good Luck to all the competitors!
