Stu-Co News
Welcome back, new and old students and staff, from the Stu-Co members. The Student Council's year started last year when the new members and officers where elected. President Angie Durflinger; Vice President Alli Johnson; Secretary Brianna Jackson; Treasurer Melanie Baxa; Historians Hailey Kaderabek and Crystal Brakhage; Public Relations Desiree Bartels; and Marquee Masters Miranda Johnson and Becca Taylor.
This summer we had two very productive meetings. For the summer getaway Stu-Co planned a day to the Omaha Henry Doorly. At this meeting we discussed homecoming committees, fireworks stand and much more. The before school meeting was held at the school in Mr. Vandershaf room. During the meeting Homecoming committees presented ideas and Stu-Co voted. Theme: Masquerade Colors: purple, green, cracked silver, and gold Song: "Never Say Never," by The Fray.
We welcomed back the students with an assembly and popsicles. The Back to School Dance this year will consist on a cook-out and a dance, starting at 6:30-9:30.
