Elementary Celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday

The Meridian Elementary students celebrated Dr. Seuss on March 8th by doing several activities relating to the Dr. Seuss books. The Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade students who worked with Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Rickstrew listened to the book, "If I Ran The Zoo" and then made their own "If We Ran the Zoo..." trains which displayed the students' creative zoo creatures. The trains can be seen on the wall going out to recess. Take time to view the attached pictures.
