As I wrote out each students results from the county fair's, I can't help but be so overjoyed to be the president of a Chapter that has so many students who understand the meaning of hard work and dedication to a project or animal. Being involved in the fair myself, I can say that it is certainly not easy to get up early and stay out late getting my animals prepared or to pack a trailer the night before county fair. It take many long, tiring months and countless hours of perseverance to get the animals to their greatest potential. A big thank you goes to those parents, grandparents, fellow FFA advisors, community members and volunteers who graciously took time out of their busy schedules to set up for the fairs, help with a livestock show/livestock judging or simply to those who came out to support the kiddos as they went through the show ring to present what they have spent so much time and effort on. It is such a great feeling being able to share our story of hard work to those who truly support you at these shows and in the livestock industry. Congratulations again to all the current members, as well as to those younger exhibitors that will be the future of our Chapter! You guys rock:) - Erika Schwisow, Chapter President
