Homecoming Festivities - 2019
Homecoming festivities were held throughout the week of October 7-12 for the Meridian Mustangs. Monday afternoon was the start for decorating the commons and hallways using the theme of "Hallloween." All classes from Grades 7-12 had an area that they were responsible for carrying out the theme.
There were some very creative students as well as teachers that enjoyed the dress-up days. On Monday was VSCO, Hick Day; Tuesday was Throwback, Meme Day; Wednesday was Class Color Day; Thursday was Frat/Sorority, Villain & Superhero Day; and Friday was Red, White, and Black Day.
Coronation of the Homecoming Queen Josiee Sobotka and King Kolby Schafer was held afternoon the football game. Other members of the court were Breanna Boyce, Halle Pribyl, Wyatt Haverluck, and Hector Nunez. Crownbearers were Elena Horn and Kipton Kumpf. It was a great win for the Mustangs defeating Parkview Christain 70-32.
The homecoming dance was held on Saturday evening. The homecoming week is sponsored by the Meridian Student Council
