Enrichment Students Take On The Challenge of The Escape Rooms

On Thursday April 26, 2018, the Meridian 10th - 12th grade Enrichment students took on the challenge once again on their annual visit to the Escape Rooms in Lincoln, Ne.

The Enrichment students that went on the field trip were Seniors: Adeline Beals, Erin Johnson, Jack Neihouse, Rylee Pieper, Jaicee Sobotka, (foreign exchange students) Danielle Vik and Selena Wutzl Juniors: Brianna Barton, Jackie Dimas, Andrea Kort, Fred Kujath and Sophomores: Breanna Boyce, Halle Pribyl and Josiee Sobotka. The students experienced a new room The Judgment, which found them blindfolded and handcuffed together as a group. This was an exciting twist to an already difficult task. Sad to say that both groups failed to escape in the allotted 60 minutes, but the students learned valuable cooperation and teamwork building skills that will aid them down the road. A group was able to escape The Hacker room, those team members were Brianna Barton, Jackie Dimas, Fred Kujath, Breanna Boyce, Halle Pribyl and Josiee Sobotka. The evening was capped off with a bite to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. A good time was had by all.
