FBLA Off to a Good Start
FBLA reorganized on September 4 with several junior high and senior high students attending. Several things were discussed at this meeting. FBLA had the concession stand at the volleyball triangular on September 11 and netted a profit of $408.67. Thanks to all the good help by the members and parents.
On September 18, 24 members were able to do our community service of trash pickup from a mile east and a mile west of the Alexandria corner on Highway 4. Several students found interesting things along the highway and in the ditches.
The FBLA officers attended the Fall Leadership Conference in Kearney on September 23 along with 416 other members and advisers. The other site for the Fall Leadership Conference in held in Omaha on the following day. At that site, there were a total of 874 members and advisers. Johnathan Sprinkles was the guest speaker from California that emphasized to the audience on "Be the One." A very inspirational speech that kept the audience involved.
The officers for the year are President Ricky Nunez; Vice President Bridgette Jackson; Secretary Blair Hofstetter; Treasurer Ashli Soukup; New Reporter Ann Endorf, Historian McKehna Bartels, and Parliamentarian Lupe Dimas.
