Meeting the Needs of High-Ability Learners
Meridian Enrichment Program

by Marilyn Bachle
May 02, 2006

High-ability learners are students who have been identified as having excelled ability to think, reason, judge, invent, create or perform.  Identified students often have cognitive and affective needs that are not met in the regular classroom. The Meridian Enrichment Program is designed to help meet these diversified needs by providing differentiated educational services both within and beyond the regular classroom.  If any parent in the district feels that his/her child has marked ability in academics, leadership, creativity, or visual and performing arts, they should contact the Enrichment Coordinator at Meridian, Mrs. Marilyn Bachle.
