Speech Meet Held at Meridian
The Meridian speech team hosted and dominated an eight-team speech meet on Saturday, February 11. Meridian finished first in five out of the ten events offered. Exeter-Milligan and Deshler won two events each and Thayer Central won one event. Seniors Bethany Lintz and Brianna Jackson finished in the top three of their events. Class D-1 District Wrestling Tournament
at Central Community College Columbus
Five Mustang Wrestlers Qualify for the State Tournament. Five Mustang wrestlers punched their ticket to Omaha Saturday at the D-1 District Wrestling tournament held at Central Community College in Columbus, NE.
