Meridian Triangular
with Hampton and High Plains

On Tuesday, the Lady Mustangs hosted a triangular with , Hampton and High Plains. The night started with the Lady Mustangs taking on the Lady High Plains Storm. The Storm were no chance for the ferocity of the Mustangs, they came out against them winning the first set 25-14. The second set High Plains bumped up their game and made the set closer, but the ladies still pulled through winning the second set 25-17. The next match was between the Lady Storms and the Lady Hawks. The final match was between our Lady Mustangs and the Lady Hawks. The Hawks put up a good fight in the first set, but still lost 25-18. In the second set, however, it was no match for our Lady Mustangs will to win, the ladies won 25-10. Leading in kills that night was Allison Johnson with 18, following her was Brandie Sykes with 16, Brooke Hofstetter with 3, and Melanie Baxa and Taylor Johnson with 1. Solo blocks Brooke Hofstetter lead with 4, Haley Dutton followed with 3, and Melanie Baxa with 1. Leading in ace serves was Ashley Hansel with 5, Brooke Hofstetter with 2, and Taylor and Allison Johnson with 1.
