Kinder Safari
Kindergarten students have been looking at the continent of Africa. Through their studies, they have traveled to Egypt, the Congo, the Sahara Desert, the river Nile, and the savanna grasslands. On Thursday, the savanna grasslands came to Meridian. Kindergartners went on a safari around Meridian. With binoculars in tow, students scanned the horizon to see if they could spot any of Africa’s well known animals. Students then came back to the classroom to draw a picture of their favorite animal and to write a sentence with some of the sight words that they have been learning.
