First Grade to the State Fair 2019
On August 28, the first grade class took a field trip to the Nebraska State Fair to Participate in the Nebraska's Largest Classroom program. A few of the activities that the first graders enjoyed participating in included taking combine rides, petting sting rays, watching sponsors shear sheep, exploring the birthing pavilion, watching a magic show, observing giant sand sculptures, and learning about flooding and erosion. Sponsors for the trip included Tami Filipi, Sarah Thomas, and Stephen Specht. It was an educational and fun day for everyone!
