However, a student may only compete in one event.   As shown by the *, these students chose this event to compete in.

All of the Meridian Students that attended the Conference did an excellent job in all of their events.  All schools participate in one division so we compete against Lincoln and Omaha schools. Tests can have up to 600 people in them so this is why we are so proud when Meridian students earn a trip to National FBLA.

Other Meridian students that attended the Conference were:  Blake Bartels, Evan Bartels, Ashley Hansel, Brian Heiserman, Brianna Jackson, Christina Maschman, Blake Miller, Shane Roesler, and Kyle Rohr.

Several fundraisers will be conducted to finance this trip, which costs about $15,000.  The K-12 Red Wheel fundraiser will kick off on April 27th and run through Monday, May 10th.  Delivery of products will be on Thursday, May 20th, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.  All students K-12 are encouraged to sell, and the prizes will be cookie dough, determined by the number of items sold.  All proceeds will go to the FBLA students and sponsor to compete in the National FBLA contest in Nashville, Tennessee.

Any business or individual who would like to donate money to this academic trip please send your donations to Meridian FBLA, Meridian School, PO Box 190, Daykin, NE 68338.

To make money to go towards the trip, these FBLA students are looking for any jobs you might have.  Please contact Kathy Soukup at Meridian School at 446-7265 if you have any jobs.
