| OSMOND — If a nearly four-hour trip didn’t tire
out the Meridian football squad, the weather conditions finished
off the job as the Mustangs saw their 2009 campaign ended by Osmond
in a 12-8 loss Thursday on the road.
The rainy, muddy conditions kept both teams’ passing games to
almost nil, but the Tigers outran the Mustangs 199-131.
Meridian head coach Clint Jones said the weather the past two weeks hasn’t helped the stampeding Mustangs. |
