New Shields for Gym

Hey everybody, the next time you go to the gym, be sure to notice the two new Crossroads Conference shields. Shelby and Osceola are new members of the conference this year, and the Student Council wanted to be sure these schools were represented. The Council then approached the Art and Industrial Arts department for help in making the shields. The Council provided the material, the paint, and some man power, and with the help of these two departments completed the project. The shields will be in the gym for the September 22 volleyball game with Clay Center. The Council wishes to thank Mrs. Bachle, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Durflinger as well as the numerous Student Council members and non Council members who carried out this worthwhile project.
