Silver Lake Triangular

The Lady Mustangs opened up the season by hitting the road to Roseland. They hit off the night by defeating Silver Lake, after the two year winning streak Silver Lake has had against the Lady Mustangs. The Lady Mustangs beat the Silver Lake Lady Mustangs on their home court 25-19 & 25-22. Then the Lady Mustangs went on to beat the Bruning-Davenport Lady Storms in two sets 25-17 & 27-25. Allison Johnson leading in kills for the night with a total of 20, Brandie Sykes 17, Haley Dutton 10, Melanie Baxa 7, and Brooke Hofstetter 5. In Solo blocks Brooke Hofstetter and Haley Dutton both with 2 for the night. Great start to the season ladies 2-0. The next opponent for our Lady Mustangs will be the Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves and the McCool Lady Mustangs Thursday, September 10.
