Veteran's Day Program
Veterans Day was held November 11 at Meridian High School. The K-12 classes met in the gym for a ceremony which started with the band playing “The Armed Forces” as the Veterans entered the gym. We then had the posting of the colors and the National Anthem sang by Mrs. Laura Bigley.. David Endorf, of the American Legion Post 0198, introduced other Post Commanders. After the introduction he interviewed some of the Veterans who were present, and they told us of their experience as a Veteran. Mr. Stauss gave a closing remark and the students were able to visit with the Veterans who were at the ceremony. It was a very successful program!
