A Night on the Town
The public is encouraged to attend "A Night on the Town" presentation at Meridian Public Schools on Tuesday evening, March 25. The presentation will be given by the Jefferson County Coalition regarding drug and alcohol awareness. The evening will begin with a free-will spaghetti supper from 6 - 7 p.m. hosted by the Annual (Yearbook) Staff. (Monies earned will help keep it affordable. . .apply it towards the ever rising cost of the yearbook publication.)
Topic and video presentations will include the effects of underage drinking and use of drugs that inhibit both parents and youth alike. Because of laws and valid information that will be given, we encourage all parents, students, and patrons of the Meridian District and surrounding area to attend. A raffle drawing will be held throughout the evening. The Jefferson County Coalition is still in the process of obtaining special guest speakers.
