Driver Education Classes
Driver's Education classes will be held at Meridian Public Schools on Thursday, May 29; Friday, May 30; Monday, June 2; and Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Class times on all four days will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (12:00 to 12:30 will be a lunch break.) Students are required to have a minimum of twenty (20) hours of classroom instruction and five (5) hours behind the wheel. Individual driving lessons will be conducted during the month of June. There will be a requirement of at least two (2) students in the car at all times during driving lessons. Mr. Josh Hood will be the instructor
There is no age limit designated for Driver's Education students, but only 25 students will be accepted. The cost of the class is $250. A $150 deposit is required at the final registration which is on or before May 1, 2008. The remaining $100 must be paid at the beginning of the class.
